Powerful Performers: Waterbags in Action
Modulift’s waterbags have been used for crane load tests for more than 20 years. All products are manufactured at our partner, Liftek’s, manufacturing facility.
Using water bags for load testing provides a flexible and safe testing tool. The Liftek load testing bags are designed for ease of use, offering precise load control in a variety of testing scenarios.
Load Test Waterbags in Use
A real-life success story of Modulift spreader beams being used in tandem with load test waterbags. Liftek International used their own 110 Mt and 50 Mt water bags, cable-laid grommets, and round slings as part of the test. For the other components, they collaborated with specialist equipment suppliers from around the world.
Two MOD 1000 spreader beams were used in a crucifix configuration to perform the test, with each beam lifting an impressive load of 990 tonnes. The remaining load was supported directly by the crane hook. Read the case study here.
